Sorry, but the STi will rape you in both speed and handling. Quattro is great, Subaru's AWD is absolutely superb. I love audi, but I'm also a huge fan of the STis, whether they have the creature comforts of audis or not.

Its not really cheating to use studded tires cuz any manufacturer can do that, but even with the studs only Audi Quattro would make it.

Theres another non-ski ramp one where its BMW/Benz/Audi on regular ties goign up a normal hill and only the audi gets to the top.

Oh, yeah and to beat a stock STi you would need coilovers, a good set of wheels and tires and be boosting at least 23psi.

That will put you two almost even on dry road, but you will have a slight advantage over him on the wet/snow.

And STi/WRX trans's are not the most reliable once the car is modded, my friend lost second gear with 8 thousand miles on the trans over a crappy shift fork subaru puts in the U.S. Spec STi's

they didnt exactly cheat.... they used rally spiked tires, but other than that the car was just forced to stay in low gear but it was stock otherwise.... with my audi I went through 8-10 of snow no prob and laughed at my gfs dad in his new subaru that was stuck at the bottom of their mile long drive way, as i just drove right past him

Yeah on the 'Mischief' DVD they were testing one of the first 02' WRX's in the USA and they got it stuck in the snow within like 2 mins.
