So I have been trying to get this built up motor put in my car for 2 months now. Quick recap......I was driving out in heavey rain (roads partially flooded rain) was goin through a puddle and stalled out my car. I think I bent a valve cuz my car started the next day but the motor knocked. A week later I throw a rod. So I came here for help. Someone ent me a link to Audizine a guy was selling a built up 1.8 short block. So I bought it. Here is the problem. My new block has the water pump setup of a 2001 and up and I'm a 2000. Everywhere I go they say they don't wanna do the swap and the guys that do say 10 grand. This is becoming a nightmare. Its been over 2 months now without my car. Its killing me. I'm trying one more place to see if he can retrofit it for a good price. After that if anyone wants a built up 01 and up 1.8 you know where to find me. On another note if anyone is looking to get rid of a 95-00 block let me know. I want my car back and I want it now[sm=icon_flaming.gif]
