2000 A4 1.8T.
Stock cd player.... wont read any cd's.... no matter what kind they are... i could go to the store and buy a new cd of the latest hot jams and it wont read it... it will just give me an error and wont do a damn thing.... radio and everything else works... just not the cd player.

any ideas?

You may want to take it apart and clean the optical lens... Just use a Q-tip and some isoprofal alcohol, wipe it gently, dont rub it to hard.

make sure you have the radio code too cuz if you take it apart and then put it back in it will be in safe mode and if you dont have the code the cleaning was pointless.
