well i just recently got my a4 not more than 2 weeks ago and it got stolen last night... f****... i didnt have an alarm on it but i thought a4 was electronically started and blah blah blah? what can they steal off the a4? is there like a market for it just like hondas?

 

there's another thread about the same thing happening to someone else, that really sucks man. Pretty much any car is worth it to sell for parts. I remember reading an article that said something along the lines of that a 2000 Honda Accord only costs $28,000 new (I don't know the exact numbers), but the individual parts to build a Honda Accord would cost $120,000 or so. And when you steal a car, it is 100% profit from anything you make off of it.

but are audis like hondas? easy to steal? do they just break the ignition and take off? i thought audis are way harder to steal because of key kuts and elecroncically incoded

 

yea i just had it for less than2 weeks just ordered misc items from audi too!! i have full coverage but its still a 1000 dollar deductable for me

I'm glad to hear you have full coverage but I'm sorry and feel your pain. We need a James Bond type of alarm for our cars obviously, I'm gonna start lookin into it.
