i was debating if i should go the same way at stock although larger, or to have a pipe exit under the passanger side of the car

Well i removed my mid muffler in my milltek exhaust. I had a shop replace it with 2.5" mandrel bent piping. So my exhaust consists of 3" test pipe, 2.5" downpipe, the straight pipe and just the rear section of the milltek exhaust which is just the muffler. ONe downfall is my car backfires a little, not much but every now and then ill get a "little" pop. Nothing loud but i can hear it.

ya i have a 3"down pipe right off the turbo connecting to the stock exhaust however with out the cat. my new exhaust would follow the same path as stock. it would be a 3" pipe all the way back with a unchosen muffler. i think i might get some back fires also

the pops are all part of having a free flowing exhaust, If you down shift it'll do it like crazy, mine does.

Whats up with backfires and pops trailboss?

My car does them a fair bit and i think they are cool.

Pops a flame every so often as well.

My system is decat, straight through 2.5 inch system to my rear silencer.
