I've got a 2.0 non turbo B7 2005 5ps man model and im getting some strange noises upon accelerating whilst in neutral. Im hearing a tisking/ticking sound whilst the throttle is pressed and it goes away once its been the revs have stabilised. I havent noticed it before. Any ideas? Thanks for any advice

Try removing your oil cap while your the engine is idling. If it is difficult due to crankcase vacuum you probably have a bad crankcase vent valve.
