Strange Port Under Armrest
Pic is re-sized. Not sure that it is aftermarket, though. Just curious to find out what it is. I messed around with the pic a little to enhance the detail.

Very strange to say the least! I have never seen any kind of port like that before on anything! Maybe it is some kind of proprietary port for some kind of an mp3 player or pocket pc/handheld device?
The port itself is pointing to the back. I took the pic from the back passenger's seat looking to the driver's seat. If someone put it in there as an aftermarket charger doohickey, they did a really good job putting it in. It looks like it's stock from the top. Maybe this weekend I might try & yank that thing out to see what's underneath. Anybody else have any ideas on what it could be?
My guess is still with the telephone (as in the old honkin' in-car phones). The one that looks like an RCA cable is probably antenna, and the flat pin a charge point. That's entirely a guess to be honest but I have to agree that at least from the pics, this doesn't look stock.
one is looks like video or audio port and second just might be parallel port for mp3 players or some older style pps. it's hard to tell from that picture. is it inside your armrest???
It is located in the front half of the "pocket" that is underneath the armrest... to the right of the e-brake, behind the shifter. I'll take a pic from further away when I get home to show the exact location.
Now that I think about it more, it may be a charger port for a cell phone or an iPod? It's not big enough to be a coax connection for anything. The round connection on the right is smaller than a MCX connection
