Subaru lover looking for Audi

I am 35. Not a street racer but one of the first things I look at in a car is its handling, and 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I like to enjoy driving.

I don't know how you enjoyed any of those cars! Don't you even tell me that any of the cars were purchased because of there 'handling, 0-60 and 1/4 mile times' or I'll [sm=bangbang.gif]
you would NEVER have fallen in love with a Subaru if you were shopping both cars at the same time. When I was looking for an AWD (preferably hatchback - my old protege 5 Mazda was cute, but incompetent in snow), I shopped out Subaru, Volvo, BMW, and Audi's after a good snowfall. The Volvo and BMW was sluggish in snow, the Subaru could handle snow pretty good, but even their top of the line felt and looked so cheap and ugly - kind of like an old ***** - good sex (I don't know about this - just what I heard), but someone you would never be caught dead with. The Audi handled snow excellently AND was classy and sharp. I will never drive a Japanese made car again...unless they upgrade the fit and finish.
My only problem with the 2006 Audi A4 2.0T, it accelerates off of a dead stop really slow and hesitant - it's almost scary. I have no confidence squeezing into traffic. That is a drag since it has good power once it gets going. Anyone else experience this?

Try revving to 3-4000 rpm then letting the clutch out and punching the gas as it starts to grab. Or start at 6,300 rpm
