Well, I installed my Alpine Type-R 10" with a Alpine 500 watt Mono about 2 weeks ago. In that time, there has been a constant rattle coming from the light housing right by my head! I finally decided to do something about it. I went to the local hardware store, and got some rubber gasket material. I cut it to fit the small space between the headliner and the plastic housing. Using a flathead screwdriver to pry it open a bit, I placed a thin strip of the gasket material into the space, and it took care of the rattle. You wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for it, and the color was either that or black. I figured black would really stick out, and this color, not as much.

Anyone else with subs have a rattle problem right here?

Great Idea - Our A4 has had the same ratteling noise from the center light panel since 70M - It has been driving my husband insane. Thanks for the sanity.
