Hey summers gettin closer and so ive decided instead of drivein my A4 from tampa bac to boston i was going to store it down here. The car has 175k so id rater not rack up the kind of mileage i would be if i brought it home wiht me. What im wondering is what should i do before i close the garage door for the summer? i jsut want to make sure the car stays in good condition esp where it wont be running for over 3 months. any suggestions would be awesome.

drive it to orlando, i'll take care of it for you over the summer

 

- Wash and wax it.

- Fill up with fuel. It'll prevent condensation of water in the fuel tank.

- Put it on jack stands so the tyres don't deform. (not sure this is necessary for just 3 months).

- Make sure the garage is well vetilated and without moisture.

- Disconnect the battery.

- Change oil and filter (not sure this is necessary either for 3months). If the car is left for a long time the gunk in the oil will deposit around in the engine.
