Sometimes im driving and I hear the sunroof activate and sounds like it goes to its normal position. When I slide the inside cover the sunroof is closed; however, I hear it tilting. Is this normal?

Its the potentiometer (switch) they commonly short out. You have to pop down the center light console on the headliner, pop off the light cover remove the two phillips screws and pop it down. There is three small torx bolts holding the switch in, take them out and replace the switch.

Does anyone know if this same DIY cleaning procedure works for B6 models?

My roof RARELY tilts open on its own. It closes itself after I turn on the A/C, which I'm not sure it's supposed to do, since there is no mention of it in the OM, but it does it 100% of the time, so I'm thinking this is normal...?

If I still lived in Oregon, I'd have reason to worry, but in SoCal, rain is as common as genuine people---very scarce!!!

Its because im not a hack, the switch isn't that expensive. If youhave to worry about how much money parts costs then you should be driving a honda.
