Newly purchased 98 a4 sunroof doesnt do a thing.. Where is the fuse box?

Anyone have any idea's on whats wrong?

Could be fuse. Could be motor. Does it make any sound when you try to open it?

Most people forget to grease the rails for the sunroof causing the motor to burn out.

 

Doesnt do a thing at all. period.

 

The fusebox is on the left side of the dashboard, you have to open the drivers door, and remove the panel with a flat screwdriver.

 

I hear about the turn switch going out on these all the time.

 

fuse box is on the driver side of the dash, it may also be loose wiring, if oyu want ill trade you car, i dont even have a steel sunroof and thats a factory feature.

 

Chu dont want it.. its all apart right now.

I'll check the fuses.. and see if I can find any leads with the wiring.

So what if you turn the ****, hear a noise but the sunroof does nothing? Does that signify a burnt out motor?

 

I turn the ****.. and NOTHING happens. Period.No noises, or anything.Its like it isnt connected.. But the PO was too stupid to figure out how to take it apart.. so I doubt thats it. Which is why I think its a simple fuse.
