I dont know anyone who runs a supercharger on there A4. I would think that would be a very expensive mod in parts and especially labor. Why not go with some simple mods like exhaust, intake, chip (even though you dont like it). And see how it's running after that. Also, I would think that type of set up would be cheaper and far more reliable than a supercharger system. Your tip tranny could hold with these mods, where as the supercharger probably wouldn't.

I haven't bought it yet..havin it checked out by a licensed Audi mechanic 2mor..I'm not going into a crazy amount of mods most likely. Is the 6 spd much faster? Never found one here in WA. Just mainly want to add a little speed but considering more extreme options...

since u havent bought an audi yet just go for a 1.8T and get a chip wit the large injector program they are usualy have about 235-240HP and 275+ TQ that should satify you for a lil but and it would cost about a lil bit under a 1000 unelss u want to add a FMIC and exhuast system then thats like another 2000 rite there dependin on which one u wany

panda..forgive me but what's FMIC (somethin w/ fuel management?) I'm pretty set on the 3.0 so if you were me what simple stuff would you start out with? A chip? Exhaust? If so what size piping? Are the chips easy to install/take out if I need to take the car in 4 something to avoid voided warranty?

a front mount intercooler for the turbo since you are getting a 3.0 is doesnt matter
if ihad a 3.0 i would just get an exhuast
then i would focus my money on wheels and hardcore suspension

Its is not actually a chip .
It is a flash of your ECU. And you can buy an option to switch it back to stock if you need to go to the dealer.
If you are looking into modding your car get a 1.8t with MT.
And FMIC is an intercooler. They run for about 1000$ and add about 20HP.
