Hey everyone,
So I'm going nuts with all this reading in audiforums about modding and stuff that I've decided to buy a PES supercharger, since the 2.8 doesn't have a lot of mods and I don't feel like getting a 1.8T.
The problem is I'm a control freak, which means I wanna get as much info as possible on the beast before actually say goodbye to 4000-5000dls. I've done a lot of research and info about PES G2 is vague to say the least; there's a lot of pages to be read, but a lot of details are missing. Also I use my 2.8 as a daily driver so I'm interested in other stuff such as gas mileage, durability, maintenance issues (extra to the ones that audi's already have :P), engine sound in addition to other useful info such as if more upgrades are required to handle the additional torque (transmission, etc), actual power gains, 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc.
So far the only info I've come across in the web is generic news reports of people that have driven the car with very little detailed info and an endless amount of posts saying "Ditch the 2.8 and buy a 1.8T" :P
Audiworld has a lot of posts about SC but it's always "should i get a SC? Yes yes yes" with no real data about problems, performance or member experience.
I would like to have this thread as a good source of info for everyone that's even considering gettin a PES G2, since it's a considerable monetary step and ideally it shoud adress all these questions.
So if you have a supercharger or have direct contact with a car that has one, please please post any relevant comments of your experience with it. I think it's a big help to everyone owning a 2.8 and will def help to convince some people, including me

my buddy 04S4 is talking about putting a SC on his S4 when it comes out and his car is no longer under warranty... that thing is going to be beasting. like 480-500 hp with supporting mods........ cant wait to drop the hammer on that thing.

why dont u turbo ur car and run it on 6- 7psi which will at least put ur car near a stock s4.

Supercharger runs 9psi so why bother with a 6-7psi turbo kit that would cost even more to make!!!
Here’s my car your see my car on the rollers on there but note it was only taken up to 5300 rpm when it redline at 6500rpm and we have crappy fuel over here and I had just come off the freeway and straight on the rollers so take into account heat soak.
