Ihave a 04 Audi A4, and now i am wondering what I should put in, asuper charger ,this is my first audi so im not sure weather its diffrent from my bmw, will the engine be able to support it well? ive got everything else in it i want now this is the last thing and im not sure weather i should...

question............why would you want to put a supercharger in a turbo'd car?????

 

stock turbo isnt really as good and supercharger is better then turbo...a lot more power all the time

my brothers got a 335i bmw twin turbo he did the same thing and its a lot better and the sound is a lot better

Sound has nothing to do with it, a turbo quiets exhaust gas as it passes through it. A turbo will also be able to create more power without tearing apart the motor due to compression and the superchargers parasidic loss. A supercharger steals 20% of the power just to turn it, although you will gain a small amount of low end power over a turbo, in the end with the motor pushed to the limits both ways (with a turbo or a supercharger) the turbo car would put out more power and be faster. If you are just looking for sound and not more performance go ahead. Your brother would have made more power by switching the twin turbo setup to a single turbo with a custom manifold than he is by running the supercharger.
