Default Suspension

i have a 99 A4 and would like to lower my ride...
I was thinking going with coilovers for the movement up & down
but there kinda expensive so, I want to get lowering springs with a
aftermarkt shock to go with and use them in the summer and change them
back to stock in the winter, there not that difficult to change over
ive seen ECS tuning has a kit to turn normal spring kits to Coilover system
I could get that over the winter to convert then ?
What do you guys think ?
Coilovers are over 1500 C$

Don't know about the kit from ECS, but why not just do the more economical lower spring and shock setup. Decide what drop you want and get that drop in the spring and shock setup. The only advantage with the CO's is the ability to adjust the height. If that doesn't matter to you, then don't spend the bucks.

Hi,
I have a 2001 A4 1.8, I have just installed Nuspeed Springs with Billstein struts and shocks. Believe me, make sure you know exactly how much you want to lower you car. I went down about three inches which was fairly stupid for Cincinnati roads!!!
So.....I am now looking to swap back to the original Audi strut and spring assembly.
