Well, I just came from AUDI/EURO shop here in Chicago,IL and I needed some brake work done rear & front anyways that was done but their was alot of other stuff that needs touching up.

Control arms (of course) now, besides the ECS Tuning/Puremotor sports "control arm sets" has anyone here ever bought the sets that are sold on EBAY? I mean don't get me wrong im all for high performance name brands...but some of us can't afford that EXTRA $100.00 to $200.00 (no offense intended)

I mean I heard alot of bad mouthing before... but has anyone tried these and has proof they are sh|t quality?

I have a FUEl FILTER from my 1996 V6 2.8L Audi A4. Will this fit on my current 1999.5 Audi a4 1.8T ?

I need a C.V. axle replaced passenger side...what do these run?

Also, I've changed my batteries on my AUDI key... and I cannot get my unlock/lock/panic button to work. I'm assuming KEY FOB is broken or im missing something here. Before I take it to AUDI tomorrow morning...is their anything I should look for? FUSES/WIRING etc/etc

I also am wondering that... And if you get the control arm set from e-bay let me know because I need a new set as well. GRRR...
Stupid clunk noise.

I just got a great qoute from a shop.... so unless someone can stop me.... I might move on this fast. (I mean think about it guys... remember alot of members RUN EVO intercoolers/and all HIGH PRICED named intercoolers) Now the new hott thing is the JUST-INTERCOOLERS (ebay) and they are quality. So maybe I'll be the brave one and try out a set of ebay control arms.

Go for it man! I have an ebay intercooler (havn't installed it yet) but it looks really cool and well built. I bought my tie rod ends from ebay for my 96 2.8 and they worked great!

Wow $275 for a 12 peice control arm set... I dont know man... Id have to see them up close and compare them to better known name brands to be sure of anything. If you want to be a guniea pig, im all for it though. We need more guniea pigs on the audi scene so people can have morepersonal experiences instead of personal oppinions. Id just get a new fuel filter since they are cheap and check out www.getcoolparts.com for the axles and other oem stuff.
