I always read that the quattro and non-quattro cars required different suspensions.

yea, q vs. 2wd are different, but these are both quattro cars that i'm talking about..i found a pretty cheap sport suspension off a 99 2.8q, and i'm just a little hesitant...blackb5, are you absolutely sure they'll fit?

My bad. All of the performance part sites list their suspension products as 1996 - 2001, so i would take that as a yes.

alright, i feel better...i was getting thrown off because on ebay alot of the listings i was looking at said "98-00" or "96" specifically...you're right though, i should've trusted the actual vendors' websites....

Haha, ebay is funny... they post so many crazy things... like "fits 2000 - 2002 a4's" ... cause the 02's have so much in common... lol, the ebay venders just sorta guess, I think.

That'd be sweet for you man... non-sport sucks, they sit so effin high! I'm on sport, and I cant wait till I get my coil overs!

yea, the body roll in tight corners is a little excessive....i found a site that carries a koni shock/spring kit for 675 shipped, i might hold out for that...that would be better than a sport suspension...but about 5 times as much....but the sport suspension has 70k+ miles....decisions, decisions....

Hmm, tough call. Best make sure that sport suspension never saw lowering springs... we all know it destroys the stock shocks, but I'm sure it hurts the sports as well.

I'd just wait for a used set of H&R's or something... There was a set about a month ago for 500 bucks -- and H&R has a lifetime warranty, so if the seller can hook you up with the receipt, who cares if they are used!
