Sway Bars
if u get an adjustable rear, u can tune it so you get just the right amount of oversteer, where you maintain traction till the highest speed possible, and then when u DO break traction, its oversteer, not understeer

Yep...I will most likely be buying a 19mm rear bar for my 96.
There HAVE been instances in where the subframe has cracked with the 22mm rear bar. Not only that without replacing the front bar as well, you might have a little too much oversteer.
People who can't drive need understeer, if automakers designed all cars to have oversteer, you'd have a lot of stupid people sideways on the slightest curve.

Well it's not a very common problem and AFAIK only has happened with Nuespeed 22mm rear bars. They've since updated and now include support brackets (included in the price) to prevent the cracking. But it was also due to the negligence of the buyer/installer because I beleive they did offer the support brackets for some extra $$$.
I wouldn't be too worried about it now, but defenitly install the support brackets if anyone decides to go with the Nuespeed 22mm bar.
Here's a very old and vaguely written topic from some guy who had their older bars.

i just installed a neuspeed sway bar and it included the support brackets. after messing with them for about 20 minutes, very unsuccessfully, i gave up and left them off. they are a huge pain to get on and you'll need a special, VERY thin wall socket to get them on because of the way they're designed. not to mention you have to reach through a small opening in the subframe, reach up inside, and feed two nuts onto the bolts (blind) on each side. it's pretty much impossible from what i saw, i wouldn't recommend trying it.
I REALLY think you should have them installed if you can't do it yourself. IIRC the nuespeed bars are 22mm and they are one of the only bars that people reported the subframe cracking.
Whatever you do, good luck with it.
