Default Switchblade Key Questions

I purchased a switchblade key from eBay and would like to know how I can place my key into it. I see a little black pin that may hold it, but I don't know how to get it out.

I know how to program the remote so that isn't an issue, I just want to place a my key onto this new fob.

Help?

Good guess. I already guessed that as well. Can you help in coming up with a way to remove that little black pin?

if its a plastic pin you might need to heat the end up with a soldering iron then replace the key and heat it back up to flatten it over the key hole

The pin is infact a metal pin and you will need a small nail or another small rod to help tap it out.

Tap it out part of the way and then get some grippers on the end to pull it out.

the key will pop out once removed.
