Default Swithing from A4 to?

Hi,

I'm planning to let go of my A4 (95), it's been a great car. Its been 2 years and we've been through a lot- wild boar direct hit at 100km/h- no harm to passengers (there were 5 of them)-fixed back to top notch, some frustrating but at the end effortles repayrs of torque problems (damn spark plugs were bad after all)...

Anyway, I'm in search for any sedan at 200 hp (only Europe made except VW and BMW) starting from 1999. This could be Saab 9-5, Volvo S80, Audi S4/S6/A8 etc. I prefer more "luxurious" picture, so no Evos' or Subarus'. It has to be serial model without any modification.

Maybe you could help me out in this? There's no rush, but would like to do so in 6-10 months as A4 is still going very well. And please limit your imagination to 12000 Euros

Thanks in advance for any worth of help.

if you want less of a headache, dont get a turbo car. I would tell you to just get a nice 3 series but you dont want a BMW.

The C230 did come with a manual tranny, and still does. They are just hard to find because most MB buyers want the silky automatic (especially the new 7-speed gearbox).

Get a 2001 S4. With 12k euros you should be able to pick one up with less than 100k miles on it. That will power your soul! Or get a 2001 2.8 or 2002 3.0 if you want reliability and 200+ hp.

Heh, the guy said no Evo's or Subaru's.

Not sure if the 3.0L is in Europe but that would be my best bet for you to go with.
