sorry to bug eveyone but everytime i try to search for this nothing comes up... the T3/T4 turbo do i need to change anything on my 97"1.8TQ or is it fine on the stock engine and im getting my car chipped for christmas any program recomendations (if i spelled that right) to use with that turbo...

 

t3t4 50trim with a .48 (faster spool) or .63 (more top end) would be fine with 22-24psi on a AEB engine. But you will need a new manifold, dp, chip, injectors, everything to go with it.

 

and probably a stage 3 clutch would be nice.

 

Use Unitronic for chipping, they have the best bt file for the B5.

 

ok because i was just looking through my uncle's shop and came upon a KO4 and aT3/T4 turbo still in the box and he said i could take one soof course i took the T3/T4 and it come's with the manifold so i was just wondering if it would be fine to put it in.....and im getting a new exhaust system + test pipehere soon for my birthday so how does this sound

*New CatBack exhaust
* Unitronic Chip (will the regular performance chip work or do i have to use the BT chip because they only have it for the 1.8 20V)
*Injectors
*And the turbo with manifold
*************AM I MISSING ANYTHING*************

and yeah a stage 3 clutch would be nice (if i had a manual)

There are tons of t3t4 varients (45, 50, 60, 60-1 etc), what version is it and A/R? It might not be something you want. Also is it a garrett or turbonetics? Also who made the manifold? Im starting the have bad feelings about this "setup"

 

I got 10 bucks he thinks it will bolt up to the stock manifold with no modifications.
