howdy all,

been researching a new ride to replace my trusty 4x4 tacoma that I have had for over a decade... I have moved to the east coast with a new job that I have been driving more and using my motorcycles less.

I want a fun car to drive but also retain some practicality with moving things around so I am really interested in the A4 Avant. I should say that I am also still considering a early model Subaru Impreza wagon, but I would much prefer the ride quality, engine and general fit/finish of a german built auto.

B5 vs B6...
I think prefer the earlier body style and price range of the B5 models but they are older than the slightly newer B6 range which may have less 'used auto issues' since they are a couple years newer.... pros/cons?

You should drive each one & decide which one you like. The Audi's are not quite as trouble free as the Toyota products but are more fun to drive.
