My wife's car has the” Rear fog light out" message and it has been on for a few weeks. I checked all the bulbs and everything looks good. I also noticed that the left side has different bulbs than the right in the same locations, so I’m not sure which side has the correct bulb in the correct spot. On the left housing there might be a 5007 but in the same spot on the right housing there is a 7528 so I don’t know which side is correct. I want to put all new bulbs in the rear housings but not sure which number goes where.

The owner’s manual is useless (it says to take it to the dealer) and the Chilton’s is equally as useless. I have searched everywhere online but I cannot find a bulb diagram/location chart with bulb numbers and voltage/wattages for the rear tail/brake lights.

Does anybody have one or have a picture of which bulbs go where? If replacing the bulb doesn’t fix the issue, what else could it be? Fuse?
