Default Tail Light Indicator

Hey Guys,

I recently replaced my tail lights with some aftermarket ones and since then my car is telling me that my taillights are out, even though they are working. My guess is because the new tails are LED's. Anyway, is there a way to disable this without doing anything to the wiring, with vag-com for example?

Thanks
Mike

you have to install a resistor to fool the computer. it's not hard but they get very hot so you have to be careful with the placement of them. you can buy them from radio shack and find a diy on oe of the major forums. have fun! mine were doing the same thing but i got soooo tired of that and the constant burnt out led's that i just replaced them with he stock ones.
