Default Tail lights
I have a 1998.5 a4 2.8 and i hate the tail lights i have i would really like the 1999+ tail lights. Im not sure and im think its a dumb question but will the tail lights for a 99 fit on a 98 with out modification?

Yes and no.

They fit with no body modification whatsoever. They do require you to swap 2 wires on the harness though...VERY simple.

anyone know where i can get some 99+tail lights that are smoked. Only ones i can find are the gay alteza's

Idk..In my opinon, i think just the updated tail lights look the best on silver.... its your call tho about the smoked lights

you can ebay the taillights i got some off there, ima put it on my car, but if your not gonna have smoked headlights its gonna look weird...
