taillights smoked

im looking to get the taillights of my 06 A4 2.0T by GMG.....does anyone know how difficult it is to take them off to send them to GMG? I have relatively limited experience......

should bea couple screws, and remove the tail light bulbs, should pop out very easy. For help see manual for replacing tail light bulbs

After you remove the screws there is going to be a thick gum like substance used to bond the taillight to the car. I would replace that when you reinstall them to ensure no water leaks into the car.

You should just goto a local place, there is A LOT of places that does sticker tailight smoking..

Mine were just 4 screws and took about 5 minutes. Very easy.

yeah if you take them out i hope you ahve a nother car to drive cuz you are going to have to wait to get them back. i would try to find another shop around where you live and get them done or DIY. i have heard its easy and you should be able to find out how to do it.

there's a product called "night shades" that you can buy, it's an aerosol can. if you're comfortable with your spray-bombing skills, do it yourself. I did it to an old project car and it turned out great.

good tips. and obviously, remove the taillights from the car first. you don't want that black sh*t on the rest of the back end of your ride.
