Whats up guys ?

I need some help/advice. I just had my 2002 1.8 a4 quattro, 86K miles, at the dealership for a hose recall, where they checked the car and found that the tailshaft seal is leaking. They told me that they would fix it for 363 $. so i was just wondering how hard is this to do, could i do it myself? im not a mechanic but i know thing or two about working on cars, and i love to do it. So should i try to do this or just let them handle it ? I have done research on it but none of the forums give me any results.
