Default tein coilovers

not looking to drop 1100 on h&r coilovers, anyone know anything about teins? good or bad? found some for 700 i heard theyre nice on hondas but i obviously have an audi. any help would be appreciated, thanks! http://images.marketworks.com/fullVi...w.com/tein.jpg

I hear good things about them, but they do have that niche market with japanese cars. Just make sure you're getting the real deal, there are a lot of fakes out there on eBay. You shouldn't have to worry about it if you're getting a full coilover kit, but if you were just buying springs I'd be wary.

yea i was going for the coilovers, just cuz theyre adjustable u know. damn fakes?? never even though about it is there a lot of fakes?

Yeah, Tein has a blurb about it on their website. Guess it's a problem with just the springs, and knock off companies using sub-par materials

I was looking into this, but got diverted to Bilstein and KW. TEIN has gotten some bad reviews. Koni on the other hand is the next affordable thing. If you can save a little, buy quality products, be patient in what you really want to get, weigth all possibilities, it's pros and cons. As a noob, I have done my searching and reading, and not get swallowed by the first review that I read.

Dude, you might get a coilover before, I do.... I am still darn reading the reviewsgl...

yeah i havent heard anything bad either, i just want some cheap, decent coilovers i think spending around 1100 on h&rs is a little too much.....

Where did you find them for $700? I am looking for some nice coilovers as well..Not that a total cheapskate or anything but I would like to find some nice coilovers in that price range..
