I found this in Audiworld.

Koni Coilovers (~$1000): Progressive Springs Front & Rear. Front have a working rate of 450# and the rears having a working rate of 440#. Height adjustable on car, height adjuster is located at the bottom of the spring. Rebound adjustable only when shock is off the car.

Bilstein PSS9 A4 (~$1700): Linear rate springs. Front is 515# with 145# helper spring, Rear is 515#. Dampening is adjustable on car. Adjuster **** adjusts compression & rebound at the same time. Height adjustable on car, spring adjuster is located at the top of the spring.

Bilstein PSS9 S4 (~$1750): Linear rate springs. Front is 575# with 145# helper spring, Rear is 575#. Dampening is adjustable on car. Adjuster **** adjusts compression & rebound at the same time. Height adjustable on car, spring adjuster is located at the top of the spring.

Tein Basic for Quattro (~$900): Linear rate springs. Front is 504#, Rear is 671#. Non-Adjustable dampening, ride height adjustable on car.

Tein Basic for FWD (~$900): Linear rate springs. Front is 447#, Rear is 503#. Non-Adjustable dampening, ride height adjustable on car.


Tein SS (~$1200): Linear rate springs. Front is 503#, Rear is 671#. Adjustable dampening when uninstalled, ride height adjustable on car.

Tein SS for FWD (~$1200): Linear rate springs. Front is 448#, Rear is 504#. Adjustable dampening when uninstalled, ride height adjustable on car.


KW V1 (4cyl-Q) - (~$1200) : Linear Front Spring and rear spring. Front is 580#, Rear is 470#. Height adjustable on car. Damping is NON-Adjustable

KW V1 (4cyl-FWD) - (~$1200) : Linear Front Spring and rear spring. Front is 580#, Rear is 380#. Height adjustable on car. Damping is NON-Adjustable

KW V2 (4cyl-Q) - (~$1500): Linear Front Spring and rear spring. Front is 580#, Rear is 470#. Height adjustable on car. Rebound Adjustable only when uninstalled.

KW V2 (4cyl-FWD) - (~$1500): Linear Front Spring and rear spring. Front is 580#, Rear is 380#. Height adjustable on car. Rebound Adjustable only when uninstalled.

KW V3 (4cyl-Q) - (~$1750): Linear Front Spring and rear spring. Front is 580#, Rear is 470#. Height adjustable on car. Rebound Adjustable & compression adjustable on car with modification to car. Otherwise Rebound adjustable only when uninstalled, compression adjustable while installed.

KW V3 (4cyl-FWD) - (~$1570): Linear Front Spring and rear spring. Front is 580#, Rear is 380#. Height adjustable on car. Rebound Adjustable & compression adjustable on car with modification to car. Otherwise Rebound adjustable only when uninstalled, compression adjustable while installed.

Vogtland (~$1100): Progressive front spring and linear rate rear spring. Front has a working range of 500# (475#-525#) rear is 550#. These numbers are from Vogtland USA. Height adjustable on car, dampening is preset by factory (otherwise non-adjustable)

Vogtland GT's (from Startup Racing) (~$1200): Progressive front spring and linear rate rear spring. Front has a working range of 575# (550#-625#) rear is 650#. Height adjustable on car, dampening is preset by factory (otherwise non-adjustable)


STaSIS Street Sports (~$1000): Progressive Springs Front & Rear. Front have a working rate of 450# and the rears having a working rate of 440. Height adjustable on car, height adjuster is located at the bottom of the spring. Rebound adjustable only when shock is off the car. STaSIS has preset the rebound to work with spring rate. 1" CNC'd spacer for rear spring ride height is available for $75

STaSIS Track Sports (~$2100): Linear rate Front & Rear springs. Fronts (600#, 650# or 700#), Rear (900#, 1000# or 1100#). Koni based double digressive dampening is adjustable on car with modification to car. Damping comes preset based on spring rate chosen when ordered.

STaSIS Motor Sports (~$3800): Linear rate Front and Rear Springs. Front (650#, 700# or 750#) Rear is (900#, 1000# or 1100#). Olin based dampers. Adjustable on car for high & low speed rebound and compression. Modification to car needed to adjust compression.

yeah i havent heard anything bad either, i just want some cheap, decent coilovers i think spending around 1100 on h&rs is a little too much.....
I think so too. Unless you're auto-x or track racing i wouldnt worry too much about it. until a certain pont coilovers are coilovers.
