Default Tein Stech installed on Friday!

Yes finally i got them install it took me about 5 hours with me and my manager. Ill post pics soon i need to get a camera BAD! But the install was actually easy just took alot of time to get all the parts off cause most of the bolts were locktited and or kinda rusted on. But none the less there on and look badass. The drop its insane its all the way on the wheels with less than a finger width of a gap. And tonight im installing my headlights to. So when i get them on ill find a camera and post them up. ASAP!

I had a problem with almost all of the bolts especially the upper control arms they were a pain. Each spring took about an hour or so to get out and back in. The rear was soooo easy i was like..... Thats it? Litterally 4 bolts and the whole assembly is out.

Yeah the rears are cake... it's the damned fronts that suck, because of the pinch bolt on the upper control arms! Soooo many hours spent solely on those two bolts. One side was significantly worse than the other... but they both took a lot of time. Are the S-techs the ones with external dampening adjustment?

scale of 1 - 10 (10 the hardest) how complicated are the shocks to install?

I completely rebuilt an ATV/ four wheeler so i do have mechanic skills but im debating weather to let the shop install coilovers for 400- more...

3-4 its easy just the bolts are hard to get off. I guess if your doing it on a newer a4 they wouldnt have that much rust and gunk in there. But mine did.

you will need an impact wrench and an air compressor do get the top bolt off the strut assembly that thing is threaded on there reallly good.
