Guys I took trip to new york and when you start the engine all the guages work fine but after a while of driving my temperature guage goes down to C when it should be right in between C and H. I stopped at a rest stop and shut of my engine and started it back up and it was fine at first then it went back down.. what could this be.. anyone ever have a similar problem..

 

When was the last time you changed your thermostat?

 

just got the ar 2 weeks ago..
haven't changed anything

 

i have the same problem... its either the thermostat or the temp sender, havent gotten around to fixing it yet though

 

It is the temperture sensor.

 

Yup I'd say a 95% chance (nonscientific of course) its the temp sensor.

 

I have the same problem, how much is a new temp sensor?

 

ummm...its been so long I forgot, it wasn't expensive though. Ask the stealership and install it yourself to save a few bucks.

 

yea...i have the same ..just bought a temp sender off ebay for $20
