Well I have had my audi for a few months now, and when I first got it, it was leaking antifreeze. I though it was the y shaped hose on the back of the motor so I replaced it. Well it wasent that. I figured out that the temp sensore had somehow poped out. So I went to a junkyard and got a clip of another car, and put it back in. Drove it yesterday for the first time in a while and I broke down in it. The temp gauge poped out again. Well I am going to the dealership to get a brand new clip today. What I am wondering is there a certain way that sensor goes in before I put the clip on. I can't understand how the sensor came out in the first place. Any advice would be great...

 

You probably didnt have the sensor in far enough. So when you put the clip in it wasnt holding the sensor in.
