Default tensioner help

i searched first and couldnt find anything, my timing belt job is being done as we speak.. and i called the guy to see how it was going and he told me that some kind of hydraulic tensioner or hydraulic something might need to be replaced also.. i forgot what he said exactly but im gonna go there when i get a ride which probably wont be till 5.. so i was wondering does anybody know what this part exactly is?

Might be the damper pulley.

Damper pulley $89.60
Tensioner $75.90

UGHHHHH

i got the ecstuning kit i assumed thats all i would need :'(

Timing belt
Idler roller
Tensioner Roller
Water Pump
Thermostat
Accessory drive belt

and g12 coolant

The idler roller is the damper pulley.

Maybe he is talking about power steering or something with the brakes.

He may be trying to screw you. The ECS kit has everything you need.
