Default terrible news

driving out of ohio today and my control arm starts making some bad noise, i get on the phone with someone on a computer and get an emergency appoinment with a stealership. im getting off the exit for the damn dealer (only like a half a mile to go) and the entire front driverside wheel and tire break loose and fly past my window, im now on 3 wheels and a rotor, sliding down the exit ramp sideways, i got control like 12 feet in front of the gaurd rail i was aimed for and stopped. called the audi people back and said "new situation, get me a tow truck." my rotor punched straight through my wheel putting a hole bigger than my fist in it. the tow guy came and brought me to audi who is now fixing my car which will be ready on monday, i am pissed. the total parts cost is $1050 for: new aftermarket hub, new rotor, and new control arm. i have a brand new ronal R7 (wheel) being sent from california overnight. i dont know how much that cost yet, i have an account with the dealer in CA. now, its the lower left control arm, which i confirmed with my tuner and mechanic back home that it is a recall part, so audi is gonna have to reimburse me and possibly pay for the whole event? i hope so, if their part caused me to pretty much crash, shouldn't they be responsible. what a sh1tty situation.

LOL, well, that's better than nothing. The dealership should have given you a loaner for that mess up. Wow, at least you were "getting off" of the freeway. It could have been a lot worse. Hope everything works out for you with the stealership. They will no doubt pay for everything, sounds messed up.
