There is help out there!!!! Dont get ripped off!
About a month ago I had a recall done on my1997 1.8T for a new ignition switch. That wasall fine and dandy until a few days ago when there became a problem with my key getting stuck in the ignition. I work at a GM dealer and we diagnosed it as a bad ignition switch and that there was a recall update. So I made another appointment, went in and they said there was no recall and then called me a few hours later saying it was going to be $240 for a new ignition switch. This was VERY upsetting b/c i JUST replaced a perfectly fine switch for this one. So I called an Audi contact number where I actaully got to speak to a person, listened to the details, made actual phone calls and called me back with a solution. Almost all Audi parts installed at a dealer carries a 12mo/12000mi warranty and that my switch will be replaced for free. Screw you Zimbrick Audi and thanks for my $240 back
