I am getting these codes,
p0102
p1425
p1472

Is there a way to check the maf to see if it's bad before I buy a new one for $300?

+1 for unplugging it and if it runs better then you know. If you end up needing a new one, check out www.ecstuning.com they seem to have the best prices, def not $300.

Ok. I unplugged it and no difference. The problem is that the car is in limp mode, so I can't really test it's performance that well. Any ideas?

VAG or unplug the ground cable for the battery for 1/2 hours to clear the code then test it

I had the codes cleared this morning, and those are the ones that came back. Unfortunitally I just ordered the vag cable yesterday so I don't have it yet. any ideas on what the short to grounds are about?
