thanks playa -- just can't wait till it's dropped! I'm going to drop it as much as I can... and will likely roll the fenders, I want it dropped pretty low... but I don't want rubbing. Scraping I can handle... but tire rub pisses me off.

 

looking nice dude. Are u quattro. If so arent those staggered? That could be bad if they are so i have heard.

 

... they are all 17x8.5, and all have 235/45/17's... the "staggered" thing, meaning the rears are pushed out further, and have a bigger lip... is fine.

Explain how it could possibly have any effect on the quattro? I've said this dozens of times on here... Quattro is a mechanical system, that keeps all 4 wheels spinning at the same speed... the ONLY time you'll have issue, is if your overall diameter is different. DIAMETER. Nothing else matters... I could have 14" wide tires in the rear, and 4" up front... and it wouldnt hurt the quattro, just as long as the circumfrance (which is computed using diameter) was the same on all 4 wheels.... all it would mean, is that the rears would have WAY more traction, and power would rarely need to be sent to the front wheels, since the rears would handle ****.
