Default Think the dealer would have this in stock?

So the door side molding on passenger side got so bad that I had to take it off or it would just come off on the highway when I go skiing on Wednesday. The driver side is pretty bad also so I'm just going to replace all of them. Does anyone know if the dealer stocks these or if theres a good chance they would have them lying around? I tried calling but their not open today and tomorrow. ECS has the good set that doesn't use metal but if I can get them faster I'd just get the stock ones since they will last longer then I'll have the car.

If you're talking about the black molding on the sides, yes they carry it in stock.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting them to have it but now I'm happy.

It really depends on how big the dealer is, if its a larger dealer and it has a good size parts department, then yes they stock that part. Smaller dealers won't carry any body parts because of space.

I think my local dealer would be considered medium to large size. Do you know how much they are at the dealer typically?

If your talking about the small piece thats on the bottom of the door when you open it, then its probably around $150.

The rubber trim piece on the bottom of the door. $150 for one piece or all 4? $150 per piece would be a joke.

I bought some for my old 98 a while ago, but I forget how much they were. I know for sure it didn't cost me $150 per piece. I think it was more around $30-40 with the front costing a bit more than the back.
