If the turbo sometimes 'studders' when boosting could this mean my stock DV is shot ?

Studders make me think plugs or wires. How would you know that its the turbo, doing the stuttering? You mean the car stutters, right? Maybe you're due for some new plugs and wires... I had an eagle talon that did that for a couple days... before I fixed it. It was fairly normal to drive through town, but as soon as I went to hammer on it, it would stutter like crazy. I installed new wires, and it fixed it 100%.

not sure how you know the turbo is studdering but if the car studders under throttle it sounds like your plugs are misfiring.

btw, you have an APR chip right? did you ever upgrade your dv? i remember we talked about this on a previous thread, debating whether or not your car came with the 710N stock, and came to the conclusion it did not. that might be an issue as well.
