I typically don't x-post from other forums, but I am familiar with TJHUB...

Avoid like the plague in other words.

This should be spread to all Audi forums.

you can't judge the service based on one complaint or two. Maybe the guy was in the bad mood when he called. Remember he said that earlier the guy was helpful.

They're a company though, it doesn't matter if the guy is in a "bad mood". His job was to help the customer out for something that they messed up on. We all have our day of "bad moods", learn to deal with it. I agree that this should be spread to all audi forums.

The support person's remarks were appalling, but I am mainly more concerned that they sold him a motor that had already been siezed...

A) There's two sides to every story.
B) I must admit, I think this is very messed up, and I am very surprised about the number of people that jumped on the thread, however I have delt with shokan more time than I can honestly count (97 1.8t, gotta love em) with my b5 and never once, had a problem. Every time I got something from them it was legit, worked, and in the condition they described. I often asked myself how they could sell stuff for so cheap. I purchased a trunk, tail lights, TIP, various interior trim pieces, central locking compressor, lock pins, a side mirror, and a grill from them. Never once had an issue. Obviously these guys did, but If I still had my b5, or didn't have a warranty with my b6, I would probably still buy from them.

I am in a trade to offer customer service at a high level. It is great to be a member here and of other sites to read and be warned of future dealing's with companies that may cause you a problem. Kind of like a told you so. After reading the story I too would feel to be aware of the problem's but also a4force 1 has a good point( good service). Dealing with the motor trade is alway's scary when you own a Audi. Also I totally agree with the way the other guy's where deal with in customer service was BULLSHIT, If that guy treated me that way I would have dropped him faster that a RS4 Audi, So if you are dealing with this company in the future just take both points into account. Remember with bad customer service it comes back to it can break a company.
Just my 2 cent's.
