RE: Thoughts on the new B7 A4?
I like it a lot more than the B6. The edges are softer and the overall lines are more appealing to me. It has less of a Japanese luxo car than the B6. The only issue I have is with the "Dodge Ram" looking front grille. It's too bulbous; I rather like the bumper breaking the vertical line of the grille as in the B6.

"I'm a F***ING fast car!"
I'm really sorrry guys but i have to say it. The A4 is not a fast car, It's barely a quick car. It's a chick magnet, and intimadating, but fast it is not.
Fire away at me.

I'm gonna havta say "no" on this one. The interior looks slick as **** but umm..where did the aggressive look that the A4's in the past had go? I mean, its all soft and smooth with no grip or power behind the design. I agree with David with the A4 not being a fast car. Stock, it is REALLY underpowered(but with a couple mods it can be pretty tough)!
The front reminds me of the crystler sebring... I think the issue is that soft edges keep going in and out of style. Look at the ford tarus...a few years back you couldn't find a singal sharp angle on the entire car...now have a look at them. The reverse goes for high end cars. A few years back there was no such thing as an angle other than 90 degrees on Audi's. This dance will go back and forth because the rich always want to distinguish themselves and after awhile anything the rich have becomes mainstream(as far as styles go). Right now, sharp angles are mainstream so Audi is taking a step toward the soft edge look. Personally...I think its a cop out...but you go where the money takes you.

Well...
The car will be different from the frame up:
And it's going to have a new 3.2 engine available:
and a new suspension and brake system:
Here are the changes, in short:
The car will be different from the frame up:
The new A4 has grown slightly compared with its predecessor: the saloon is 38 millimetres longer, the Avant 41 millimetres. The front end with its more substantial single-frame grille and new bumpers accounts for 12 millimetres of this additional length, the rear end for 28 or 31 millimetres.
A new six-cylinder engine is being made available for the A4 for the very first time. The 3.2 V6 FSI, which only made its production debut in the new Audi A6 a few months ago, has all the features of an ultramodern petrol engine: FSI petrol direct injection with demand-controlled fuel supply, four valves per cylinder, a variable intake manifold and continuous camshaft adjustment on both the intake and the exhaust side.
Agility and ride comfort are equally impressive.
This road behaviour is the result of extensive modifications in the area of elastokinematics as well as to the spring and shock absorber settings.
The predecessor’s tried-and-test basic geometry has been adopted at both front and rear: four-link front suspension and the highly complex self-tracking trapezoidal-link rear suspension. Both consist primarily of light-alloy components resulting in a low unsprung mass.
All versions of the Audi A4 have disc brakes at the front and rear; the front discs are ventilated. Their dimensions have been adapted to the increased performance potential of the new generation of engines.
