throttle cut
is this the thing that stops fuel cut when your boosting too much? if so I wouldnt recomend it at all. If your car is doing this that means its trying to tell you to back off, cause its reached its limits for the current setup.
When the maf reads more then it can counter with fuel it will cut, so therefore the limit it can safely maintain has been reached. I dont recomend it but do as you will
edit: it has nothing to do with "boost the ecu sees" its maf readings that cause this and as we all know thats pre turbo (before boost)

I do not own a DBW A4, but from what I know, the ECU senses too much boost, and cuts throttle to 40%.
This also happens on upgraded fuel systems. The ECU THINKS there it shouldnt be running more.
This is due to spiking of boost from k04's/k03's. Some people use a N75H vavle, which reducing spiking, but it raises the constant boost pressure.

thats exactly how the fuel cut defender worked on my MR2 and on all cars im sure.. once the ecu reads a certain boost.. it was 17psi i think ..cant remember exactly.. on my MR2 .. after 17psi or whatever it was.. the fuel would cut.. and you would have to reset the ecu to get it back to normal..
ok so the MAF is the culprit... I have a custom air intake could it be getting too much air? that's why it's cutting throttle? if so it will be easy for me to change back to stock... anything to just hold onto my boost for more than a few days!
I just got the race valve... do i need to do a TBA once I put it in or will it adjust automatically? the one guy said its the MAF? is this the problem or no? thanks
