when sitting at like stoplights and such my car will make like a heavy thumping noise coming from like either under drivers seat or drivers side rear seat and i can feel it in my feet! like someone knocking on the floor! WTF eh? any ideas anybody? this only happens when...my car is not moving.(or if it is when its moving i can't feel or hear it.)

 

Does shifting feel funny at all?? When you pull away from the stop light does the car kinda shake like you're not catching the clutch at the right time??

 

its only when i am not moving and in gear. shifting feels fine everything goes smooth

hmm..I'm not sure what's happening then. Trying getting a friend to look under the car for you while you're sitting still and in gear. See if he can find where exactly the sound is coming from or if he can see what is making the sound.

Other wise, I'd take it some where and have some one check it out. Doesn't sound like any thing serious.
