Default Ticking Loadedly at Idle

So the other day I started my car up and it started to tick softly. I thought little of it because it was masked by the turbo winding up. But after a hour commute home today it was ticking loadly and the car started to rumble when I was stopped at a light. I got it home and popped the hood. The ticking was coming front the rear of the engine and with only getting loader. There is no CEL or any other signs coming from my car so I don't know whats wrong.

Sorry if this was in the trouble shooter. I couldn't find a relivant connection.

That is usually due to bad fuel. Could you have put in plus or regular on accident instead of premium?

Engine, year and mileage would help.

Could be lifter noise due to oil pressure problems. Most of our engines have some noise. Have you been using synthetic oil of the correct weight and have you been changing it religiously? Are you using the larger oil filter?

Premium always premium. My Mech topped it off 3 weeks ago when he changed the belt. Its a 2001 with 58000 miles.
