Default Time for a boost gauge!

How do these aftermarket places get off charging so much for the vent mounted boost gauges??? I did find one on Ebay which looks like crap... Im going to do what Grrrman did with his Avant.. A little bondo and sandpaper and paint and a boost gauge. I have the gray interior and does anyone know what spray paint would match those vents or has anyone tried that? I dont reallly like the black face on gray vents.

I bought an A-pillar pod from here:

evolution

and the gauge from here:

newsouthperformance

Going to get the installation done soon. I think grand total for the gauge+pod was in the low 50's after shipping+handling.

There's a guy on AZ that sells the vent pods for $20, and you should be able to find a guage pretty cheap.

I have an A-pillar pod, and I'm not sure if I have the side curtain air bags. I guess I'll find out when I get an accident, and possibly get a boost guage to the dome. That would suck!

I don't like 'em. It looks like they get in the way of your info display.
