Haha tom, you have to remember, my car is bear metal from the front seats back, it is light. With all the torque, and the 2.8trans, the weight reduction, my 0 to 60 is pretty danm fast, i wont brag about top end, but it will pull to 150mph.

The rear seats are so light though... Hmm. I guess maybe like 75 lbs for the rear bench and backs? Door skins are light, if you ditched them... speakers can save a few pounds... ditching the spare can save like 35... Hmm. I guess you can shave an easy 100 - 150 lbs... which I'd imagine you'd feel, as that's like the weight of a passenger.

Well its not the door skins that are heavy, its the motors behind them that have weight to them.

APR stage 3 is spendy, how long r ya gonna have to be savin for? The numbers they have for the stage 3+ for the b6 are really nice. Why don't they have a stage 3+ for the b5?

B6's are the new b5's! :P Seriously though... what I mean, is that younger people who are buying audi's NOW are going to shoot for a 2002+... the 02's value's have obviously taken a hit since the b7 rolled in... so yeah, people can get b6's at great prices. So, the 25 year old crowd, the guys who will have $ to mod (and want to) will likely be buying b6's.

That is my theory. That or they are just stupid.

Yeah, i really think it call comes down to preference. Im into speed, so the b5 is the best for me. I think it is alot sportier looking, the b6 kinda looks like a watermelon, but i like all a4s.

Btw-apr is working on a 28rs kit, if i have the cash, i may get it, or wait and see what awes 28rs kit looks like.

Ah we'll see, I feel no difference with my 49lb summer wheel/tire combo with 2 extra ppl, than my 40lb winter wheel set-up and no passengers. Also i ran a 14.8 with my summer wheels and a passenger and a 14.7 with winters and no passenger with my ko4 non pc-16 set-up set-up, so it really doesnt make a big diference..at least in my car. But yea we will see this summer for sure!

You don't want none of this ritt.....

btw- Tom and i have a race lined up already, he and i are having a disagrement about weight reduction, so hes packing his car, trunk and all, prolly a good 5-6 100pd. He insist he doesnt notice a 250pd difference, but i tell him it will make a a differnce.

What do guys think, my stripped apr stage III/2.8trans car with apr source? Or toms 4000pd pig?
