Default timing belt

i got my dieselgeek timing belt kit in today and everything looks great. I still have a few questions though after I downloaded both of the diy type-ups on AUDIWORLD.com. Do I need to have a timing light to check it? Local mechanic said they have some special system to chack everything afterwords, should I pay the 100 bucks to let them? thanks

PS wish me luck im doing this on sunday(hopefully with zedex)

Yeah, that sounds about right. Although I've never done an Audi Timing Belt, so this should be a learning experience. Damn you're busting my *****, 8:00am morning after New Years Eve. [:@] Hahaha.

I'll be there though... Valvoline, right? Which one?
