Default Which Timing Belt to buy and does pulley work?

I need to change my Timing belt and was thinking about buying the ECS ultimate belt kit. Is there another kit that's being offered elsewhere that might be cheaper but just as good? Also I was debating on wether to get the lightweight crank pulley. Is it worth it? Can you really tell the difference with the lighter pulley or is it just a waste of money? Thanks for your input

The only way to know if its just as good, is to compare the parts between the two kits.
I got mine elsewhere instead of ecs because it was cheaper, and the kit was fine. As long as it has all the neccesary components, you should be fine.

I bought the dieselgeek kit. Nice parts, even my mechanic commented about the quality. I think it was $260 well spent. I've heard the underdrive pulleys don't get you much.

If you are looking for the extra 0.01 sec off the line, a lightweight or underdrive pully will give you that extra edge. For most of us, it isn't worth it.
