I am in need of a timing belt and waterpump, how much does this usually cost, or what is a logical estimate, i have recieved a few from different service shops, and they are pretty expensive, like $700.00 to $800.00, i was wondering how much you have paid for that, considering you have the V6, thanks.

 

That price is pretty average in my area. If you do it yourself it will cost less then half. Remember the 2.8 will get alot more miles out of the timing belt then the 1.8T.

 

Mine was $600.
